The Canvas

acrylic on canvas
16" x 20"

The Canvas

if I could write sweet words that rhyme
I'd write a poem for you
if I could sketch a colored thought
by blending pastel views
I'd let the colors flow
forevermore
on the canvas of your heart

and if I was a poet still
I'd try to find the words
that might describe my mood
blend pastel views
with the reaches of the mind
and let the colors flow
forevermore
on the canvas of your heart

If I could write sweet words that rhyme, I'd write a beautiful
thank-you poem to you, Erika and to you, Lance. I would thank you for sharing your brush strokes and your penciled words with all the world. You make this world a better place. Love always, Kathy

The colours are just beautiful, looks like a pretty silk fabric.
Hope that you have a lovely week.

Lancerika, thank YOU for coming to put on a pearl necklace; never forget the beauty in each bead....starts out as a grain of sand, then with the layers of love and time, becomes the pearl as it shines....march on.....Anita
