November..

Flicker Thicket

Flicker Thicket
* * * * * * * *
this eve anew
with dusk and dew
reveals the realm
where fairies flew

flicker thicket
all alive with fireflies

there's magic in the air
emanating from their secret lair

this eve alight
with flash and flight
like floating stars
they pierce the night

flicker thicket
all alive with fireflies

if you look really close at
the center bar of the left window,
you may see
something staring
back
at
you..

Lovely portals beckon

a timeless invitation

window and door unshut, unshuttered

for the best of both world within and without
