PARIS NOIR

acrylic on canvas
16" X 20"

PARIS NOIR

down boulevards and avenues
the back streets of desire
in this city of intrigue and passion
discretion is still the elegant fashion

here the chamber walls would never tell
and if they did, they'd lie
because behind closed doors beneath the covers
secrets stay unblemished between true lovers

Oh what a wonderful painting and poem.
It really is such a magical City and I wished I was walking down the boulevards and avenues of Paris.

Happy weekend

What a beautiful image. I love the dark elements - a rather original interpretation of Paris 'City of Light' :)

We were in Paris in 1984 and now I feel like I am back...down the boulevards and avenues and back streets. Amazing how you both capture the mood. Amazing. xo

The allure of this painting and the written words are so very much like Paris. Tres chic.

You have captured the old world feel of the streets of Paris around the Cathedrale de notre Dame!
