Pianoforte

22" X 28"
acrylic on canvas

 TONE  POEM

To be captured alone
with you
is a tone poem

Your harmony drifts
like a mist
through the air

And your melody  lingers long after you're gone
like a symphony
keeps me aware

So to discover your love
is to be trapped in a prison
with bars that contain me
like those of a song

And when a strong will like mine
succumbs to weak indecision
and meek inhibitions
the tone poem plays on

Good morning Lancerika! Thank you for coming to visit my post and your art work is just stunning. I have to agree with my friend Shari from Little Blue Dear, that blue in the Piano Forte painting is ABSOLUTELY RICH with intensity and vibrant emotion.....how ever did you find me? I so appreciate your comments! Isn't art just so much fun? Whatever our medium, it shapes us into who we are and who we are to become....thank you for expressing such beauty! Anita
